Turns a topic, article or video into a reading at a chosen grade level with vocabulary, questions and activities.
Diffit takes a source, such as a topic you type, a web article, a video or a PDF, and writes a reading passage at the grade level you choose. Along with the passage it produces a summary, key vocabulary, and questions in several formats, which you can export to Google Docs, Slides or Forms.
Teachers use it to give a whole class the same content at different reading levels, or to make an English version simpler for multilingual learners. It can also produce versions in other languages.
Read every passage before students see it. A rewrite can drop nuance, change meaning or simplify a fact into something that is no longer true. For sensitive topics, start from a source you trust and compare the leveled version against it.
