Khan Academy

Khan Academy offers free videos, articles and practice exercises across math, science, reading, history and more. Students work through skills at their own pace and get hints when they are stuck. Teachers can create classes, assign practice and see which skills each student has mastered.

Khanmigo is Khan Academy's AI tutor and teaching assistant. For students it is set up to guide with questions rather than hand over answers. For teachers it can help draft lesson hooks, exit tickets and rubrics. Availability and cost of Khanmigo depend on where you are and whether your district has an agreement.

As a nonprofit, Khan Academy keeps the core practice library free. Practice works well alongside teaching, and the data teachers see is only as useful as how consistently students use it, so set clear expectations for when and how long students practice.
